Inspiration from The Celestine Prophecy

A book that inspired me greatly when I read it in the 90s is James Redfield's, The Celestine Prophecy.
The author shares nine insights in this book and since then shared three more in books published since.
Going back to his first book, I am enjoying again the richness of the author's sharing.
According to  his website: www.celestinevision.com, the definition of the first insight is:
"A new spiritual awakening is occurring in human culture, an awakening brought about by a critical mass of individuals who experience their lives as a spiritual unfolding, a journey in which we are led forward by mysterious coincidences."

I have experienced this in my own life, the unfolding of circumstances, that give me the assurance that there is definitely a guidance at work to help find the answers I have been asking for. Life is not run on automatic pilot, it is a continuous discovery. What makes it so interesting is that many people have answers for us, each one helping us by bringing a piece of the puzzle, and we, in turn, do the same for others. That is how we help each other.
The mysterious coincidences Redfield talks about in his book can also be called synchronicity. Those are the delightful moments when you find yourself at just the right time, at just the right place when you get a piece of information that is just perfect for you and you stand there wondering: "How did this happen?". "How did the universe, in its vastness, know I needed to hear this here and now?".
In the first Insight, the author writes: " The experience induces a feeling of mystery and excitement and, as a result, we feel more alive."
What makes us feel more alive is the awareness that we are connected to the greater energy in a personal way. It is the experience similar to saying a prayer, asking for a specific guidance, getting an answer the next day and being blown away that, amongst the prayers of millions, ours was heard and honored. It is the validation that this connection is personal. That does make us feel very good.
In the third Insight, the author says that we live in a universe of dynamic energy. The more we focus our energy and attention, the greater the flow of these coincidences will be, the more we will accelerate our own growth and discovery.
It is as if we are all driving our own car, how fast we drive it is up to us. So it takes desire, initiative, a certain resolve to make it happen. Once sentence of the Third insight has been underlined in my book for years. It says: "The basic stuff of the universe, at its core, is looking like a kind of pure energy that is malleable to human intention and expectation in a way that defies our old mechanistic model of the universe- as though our expectation itself causes the universe to flow out into the world and affect other energy systems."
This confirms that we are indeed co-creating constantly with our intention and expectations. We are not victims of a system that imposes its rules on us. This is an awareness that is indeed very empowering.
